Nano Bubbles

Product Information

Nano bubbles have a typical mean diameter of roughly 80nm based on extensive testing through independent laboratories using Malvern’s Nano Sight Nanoparticle Tracking Analysis software. Bubbles this size lack enough buoyancy to reach the surface and instead follow Brownian motion, the net effect is that Nano bubbles will remain suspended in water for months until they dissolve, traveling randomly throughout the body of water and efficiently aerating the entire water column.

Subsequently, dissolved oxygen (DO) measured at the deepest parts of a tank or pond will match the DO recorded near the surface. This unique behaviour enables Nano bubbles to provide a homogenous distribution of oxygen throughout an entire body of water.

The neutral buoyancy and negative surface charge of Nano bubbles allows them to remain in suspension for months at a time, this occurs even after the solution reaches oxygen saturation. In this capacity, the Nano bubbles act as a gas reserve in the solution.

One gram of Nano silica aerogel particles have more than 400 times the internal surface area of a typical microbubble, measured at 40 Nano meters in diameter. One gram of 40nm contains more than a centillion particles meaning a body of water 2,000 litres with a centillion of Nano bubbles. The larger surface area allows for increased mass transfer, ensuring virtually any gas is effectively delivered to water.

Nan02, patented Nano bubble technology sets our systems apart from traditional oxygen based cleaning systems. The aqueous dissolved oxygen (DO) created with Nan02 is a stable solution that contains a high concentration of dissolved oxygen in the form of Nano bubbles. Nan02 high concentration of DO creates a powerful Nano bubble solution that covers and cleans surfaces thoroughly.
